Introduction (I DO – Teacher Modelling) – 10 Minutes

  • Shows the picture of the three children on an adventure.
  • Asks learners to identify the emotions shown in the picture.
  • Introduces the lesson “The Secret Mission.”
  • Reads the first part of the story aloud with proper pronunciation and expression.
  • Explains difficult words using pictures and gestures.

  • Listening: Listen to the story carefully.
  • Speaking: Name different emotions.
  • Vocabulary: adventure, mission, nervous, excited, stream, hillock, village, scared.

Concept Building (WE DO – Guided Practice) – 20 Minutes

Listening

Students listen to classmates reading the story.

Speaking
