Pre-Knowledge Test:

- What happens when the wind blows?
Introduction:
The teacher will show pictures of clouds and ask learners about their shapes and movement. Learners will share their experiences of watching clouds in the sky. Then the teacher will introduce the poem “Clouds” by Christina Rossetti.
Concept Building:
- The teacher will recite the poem with proper rhythm and actions.
- Learners will listen carefully and repeat line by line.
- Difficult words will be explained:
- hill = small mountain
- still = not moving
- blows = moves with wind
- The teacher will explain that clouds look like white sheep moving slowly in the sky.
- Learners will identify rhyming words such as:
- hill – still
- blows – slow – go
- Choral recitation and individual recitation will be practiced.
- Learners will use actions while reciting the poem.
Consolidation and Reinforcement:
- The teacher will ask oral questions:
- What are the clouds compared to in the poem?
- What happens when the wind stops?
- What happens when the wind blows?
- Learners will recite the poem together.
- The teacher will encourage learners to draw clouds and describe them.
