ELPS

  • Listening: Listen to the teacher.
  • Speaking: Repeat the new words.
  • Reading: Read the words with the teacher.
  • Writing: Write the six new words.

Concept Building (GRR – We Do) (15 Minutes)

Teacher and students observe the picture together.

Teacher asks:

  • What do you see?
  • Who is riding a bicycle?
  • Who is skipping?
  • Are the children happy?
  • Is exercise good for us?

Students answer:

  • I see children.
  • A boy is riding a bicycle.
  • A girl is skipping.
  • Yes, they are happy.
  • Yes, exercise is good.

Teacher tells:

  • Exercise keeps us healthy.
  • We should play every day.
  • We should eat healthy food.

ELPS Activities

  • Repeat new words.
  • Picture naming.
  • Pair speaking.
  • Read simple sentences.

Consolidation and Reinforcement (GRR – You Do Together) (10 Minutes)

Students work in pairs.

Activities:

  • Name the activities in the picture.
  • Say one sentence about the picture.
  • Match pictures with words.
  • Read simple action words together.

Practice (GRR – You Do Independently) (10 Minutes)

Fill in the blanks

Answer

Drawing Activity
