Pre-Knowledge Test (5 minutes)
Teacher asks:
- How do you come to school?
- Have you travelled by bus or train?
- Have you seen an aeroplane?
- Which vehicle moves on water?
- Which vehicle flies in the sky?
(Expected responses: Bus, bicycle, train, boat, aeroplane, etc.)
Introduction (GRR – I Do) (10 minutes)
The teacher shows the picture and introduces different vehicles.
Teacher says:
- This is a bus.
- This is a train.
- This is a truck.
- This is a boat.
- This is an aeroplane.
- This is a helicopter.
Teacher explains:
- Land Transport: Bus, Car, Truck, Train, Motorcycle
- Water Transport: Boat
- Air Transport: Aeroplane, Helicopter
ELPS Integration
- Listening: Listen to the teacher’s explanation.
- Speaking: Repeat the names of vehicles.
- Reading: Read the names from flashcards.
- Writing: Write five names of vehicles.
Concept Building (GRR – We Do) (15 minutes)
Teacher and students identify the vehicles together.
Teacher asks:
- Which vehicle moves on the road?
- Which vehicle runs on railway tracks?
- Which vehicle flies in the sky?
- Which vehicle moves on water?
- Which vehicle carries many passengers?
Students answer in complete sentences:
- A bus moves on the road.
- A train runs on railway tracks.
- An aeroplane flies in the sky.
- A boat moves on water.
- A bus carries many passengers.
Teacher classifies vehicles into Land, Water and Air Transport on the blackboard.

Consolidation and Reinforcement (GRR – You Do Together) (10 minutes)
Students work in pairs.
Activities:

- Describe one vehicle using two simple sentences.
