Introduction:

The teacher will show the picture and ask learners to observe carefully.
The teacher will ask simple questions:

  • Who do you see in the picture?
  • What are the cats looking at?
  • Where is the monkey sitting?

The teacher will narrate the story with actions and expressions.


Concept Building:

The teacher will explain the story in simple language:

  • Bunu and Runu were two cats.
  • They found a piece of cake.
  • One piece was bigger than the other.
  • They went to Golu the monkey for help.
  • Golu kept eating the cake.
  • Finally, the monkey ate the whole cake.

The teacher will explain the moral: “We should share things equally and not quarrel.”

New words: Monkey, cat, cake, tree, branch.

The teacher will help learners repeat simple sentences:

  • “The monkey is on the tree.”
  • “The cats found a cake.”
  • “The monkey ate the cake.”

Consolidation and Reinforcement:

The teacher will ask oral questions:
