Pre-Knowledge Test (5 minutes)
Teacher asks:
- Have you ever seen a fox?
- What is your favourite fruit?
- Have you seen grapes?
- Can a fox climb a tree?
- What do you do when you cannot get something?
(Expected responses: Grapes, fox, fruits, etc.)
Introduction (GRR – I Do) (10 minutes)
The teacher shows the pictures and narrates the story with proper expression.
Teacher introduces new vocabulary:
- Fox
- Grapes
- Hungry
- Vineyard
- Jump
- Juicy
- Sour
- Missed
Teacher explains each word using pictures and simple examples.
ELPS Integration
- Listening: Listen carefully to the story.
- Speaking: Repeat the new words.
- Reading: Read simple sentences from the story.
- Writing: Write five new words and meanings.
Concept Building (GRR – We Do) (15 minutes)
Teacher and students read the story together.
Teacher asks:
- Where did the fox live?
- Why did the fox go out?
- What did the fox see?
- Did the fox get the grapes?
- Why did the fox say the grapes were sour?
Students answer in complete sentences.
Teacher discusses the Moral of the Story: “It is easy to dislike what we cannot get.”

Consolidation and Reinforcement (GRR – You Do Together) (10 minutes)
Students work in pairs.
Activities:
- Arrange the story in the correct order.
