Pre-Knowledge Test:
- Have you ever heard strange sounds at night?
- What sounds do insects and birds make?

Introduction:
The teacher will create a quiet classroom atmosphere and ask students about sounds they hear at night. Students will share their experiences. Then the teacher will introduce the poem “Someone” and explain that it is a poem full of imagination and sound.
Concept building:
- The teacher will recite the poem with proper rhythm and expression.
- Students will do group and individual recitation.
- Difficult words like wee, nought, stirring, beetle, screech, and dew will be explained.
- The teacher will explain the meaning and theme of the poem.
- Students will identify words related to sounds such as tapping, screech, and whistling.
- Rhyming words and poetic expressions will be discussed.
- The teacher will ask questions such as:
- Who came knocking at the door?
- What sounds did the poet hear?
- Why could the poet not see anyone?
- What feeling does the poem create?
Consolidation and Reinforcement:
- Students will recite the poem again with correct pronunciation.
- Important lines and sound words will be revised.
- Meanings of difficult words will be repeated.
- The imaginative and musical quality of the poem will be reinforced.
Practice:
- Recite the poem aloud.
- Write the meanings of five difficult words.
- Find and write words related to sounds from the poem.
- Match words with similar meanings.
- Fill in the blanks from the activity section.
