Introduction:

The teacher will show the picture from the textbook and ask learners to look carefully.
The teacher will ask simple questions:

  • What do you see?
  • Can you see a bus?
  • Can you see birds?

Learners will respond in English or home language.


Concept Building:

The teacher will describe the picture in very simple sentences:

  • This is a bus.
  • This is a car.
  • The cow is eating grass.
  • Ducks are swimming in the water.
  • Birds are sitting on the tree.
  • A man is sitting under the tree.
  • An aeroplane is flying in the sky.

The teacher will help learners repeat the sentences aloud.

Consolidation and Reinforcement:

The teacher will ask oral questions:

  3. What is the cow doing?
  4. Who is sitting under the tree?
  5. Where are the ducks?
