Lok Sabha (Lower House):
It is the lower house of the Parliament of India.
Members are directly elected by the people of India.
The tenure is 5 years (can be dissolved earlier).
It has full control over Money Bills—only Lok Sabha can introduce and pass them.
It is considered more powerful, especially in financial matters and forming the government.

Rajya Sabha (Upper House):
It is the upper house of the Parliament of India.
Members are indirectly elected by state legislative assemblies.
It is a permanent house—it is never dissolved; members serve 6 years, with 1/3 retiring every 2 years.
It cannot introduce or reject Money Bills; it can only suggest changes.
It is less powerful compared to Lok Sabha, but plays an important role in reviewing and revising laws.
