Guwahati–Shillong Expressway: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has directed to accelerate the work on the proposed 6-lane expressway from Guwahati to Shillong. This will be a transformative step in enhancing commercial connectivity in Northeast India.
Land Reforms in Bajali & Biswanath Districts: A special drive for digitization of land records has started today in these newly formed districts. These administrative reforms are highly important for the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) exams.
GI Tag for Assam Handicrafts: Applications have been submitted to the central government to grant Geographical Indication (GI) tags to several traditional handicraft products of Assam.
