Introduction (GRR – I Do) (10 Minutes)
The teacher shows the pictures and tells the story with actions and expressions.
Teacher says:
- This is the Sun.
- This is the Wind.
- A man is wearing a shawl.
- The Wind blows hard.
- The Sun shines brightly.
- The man takes off his shawl.
New Words:

- Wind
- Man

ELPS
- Listening: Listen to the story.
- Speaking: Repeat the new words.
- Reading: Read the words with the teacher.
- Writing: Write the six new words.
Concept Building (GRR – We Do) (15 Minutes)
Teacher and students read the story together.
Teacher asks:
- Who was wearing a shawl?
- Who tried first?
- Did the Wind win?
- Who won at last?
- Why did the man remove his shawl?
Students answer:
- The man was wearing a shawl.
- The Wind tried first.
- No.
- The Sun won.
- The Sun made the weather hot.
Teacher explains the moral: “Kindness and gentle actions are more powerful than force.”
ELPS Activities
- Picture naming.

Consolidation and Reinforcement (GRR – You Do Together) (10 Minutes)
