Introduction:

Teacher will show the picture of Anu dreaming about space and ask:

  • What do astronauts wear?
  • Which planets do you know?

Teacher introduces the lesson about Anu’s dream of becoming an astronaut and travelling to space.


Concept Building:

  • Teacher reads the passage aloud with proper pronunciation.
  • Students repeat paragraph by paragraph.
  • Difficult words like astronaut, spacecraft, spacesuit, shining are explained.
  • Teacher explains the story in simple language:
    • Anu dreams of becoming an astronaut.
    • She wants to travel to space and see the moon and stars.
    • In her dream, she travels in a spacecraft.
    • She lands on the moon and takes photographs.
    • Her mother wishes that her dream comes true.
