Introduction:
The teacher will show pictures or real computer parts to the students and ask them to identify them. A short discussion on the use of computers in daily life will be conducted. Then the teacher will introduce the lesson “Hello Computer!”.
Concept building:
- The teacher will read the lesson aloud with proper pronunciation and expression.
- Students will identify different computer parts such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, CPU, printer and UPS.
- Difficult words like monitor, keyboard, screen, control, and printer will be explained.
- The teacher will explain the functions of each computer part.
- Students will discuss how computers help in study and daily work.
- The teacher will ask questions such as:
- Which part is called the brain of the computer?
- What does the monitor do?
- Which device is used for typing?
- What is the function of a mouse?
Consolidation and Reinforcement:
- Students will revise the names and functions of computer parts.
- Important computer-related vocabulary will be repeated.
- The teacher will reinforce the importance of computers in modern life.
