🔹 Assam’s First ‘Integrated Emergency Response Center’
The state government has inaugurated a high-tech command center in Guwahati to manage flood response using AI-driven predictive modeling.

🔹 India’s 1st ‘Climate-Resilient’ Wheat Variety
The ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) has officially released ‘HD-3410’, a wheat variety capable of withstanding Heat Waves and requiring 20% less water.

This is a major step toward food security under the National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture.

In a landmark clarification, the SC ruled that while RTI is a fundamental right under Article 19(1)(a), it cannot be used to seek “personally identifiable biometric data” of government employees without a proven public interest.
