- Expansion of Manas National Park: The Assam government has announced the inclusion of additional forest land into Manas National Park. The main objective is to restore migratory corridors for the movement of the one-horned rhinoceros and Asian elephants.

- Green Ammonia Innovation: Scientists at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) have developed a cost-effective method to produce green ammonia at room temperature. This will help reduce carbon emissions in fertilizer production.
- Global Methane Pledge Update: According to a new report, satellite monitoring has helped reduce methane flaring by 20% over the past year in India’s KG-D6 Basin.
