Pre-Knowledge Test:

3. What colour are clouds?






Introduction:

Teacher shows the picture of clouds and sheep.

Teacher asks simple questions:

What do the clouds look like?

Have you seen clouds moving in the sky?


Teacher tells learners that today they will enjoy a poem about clouds.





Concept Building:

1. Teacher recites the poem with proper rhythm and actions.


2. Learners listen and repeat after the teacher (first in chorus, then individually).


3. Teacher explains meaning of simple words:

white sheep = clouds

blue hill = the sky

wind stops = air not moving

blows = air moving



4. Teacher shows rhyming words using flashcards:

hill – still

blow – slow

slow – go



5. Learners identify rhyming words from the poem.






Consolidation and Reinforcement:

Teacher asks:

What colour are the sheep in the poem?

What happens when the wind stops?

What happens when the wind blows?


Learners match rhyming words from the poem (hill-still, blow-slow, slow-go).

Learners recite the poem again with actions.





Practice:

1. Say the rhyming pairs aloud:

2. Fill in the missing rhyming words (oral/written):
